MOOD LIGHTING
Step 5: Add some low cost LED lighting

Purchase: 12 Volt LED strips with adhesive backing (Warm, White or colour) that are controlled using a infra-red remote control (as a guide I paid $20 / 5 metres for single color.) plus dimmers

Install 12 volt low voltage LED light strips (color if you wish) in a worthwhile locations:
Examples:

Behind TV (color will be good here)

Around bathroom mirror
-
Under/over bench tops in kitchen
-
Behind fridge shining towards wall
-
Around balcony and under outside walkway railings shining downwards

In foyer of house to make a grand entrance or enhance a feature wall
Add these infra-red controlled devices in direct line of sight of the Blackbean or RM2 Pro that will be controlling them.

Remember Infra-red does not work well outside, so place the infra-red receiver in line of sight of controller.
