Robotic Devices
Step 7: There is an increasing number of Robitic devices on offer that provide some genuine benefits when linked to your home automation.
During this project I used an LG robotic cleaner that I purchased a long time before I had heard of home automation, and I was able to connect this to my home systems in a few minutes.

Since then I have purchased a second unit and it was just as easy to get running.

I recently evaluated a Husqvama robotic lawn mower which is an electically power device that is controlled in much the same way as the robotic cleaner.
I have to say this has changed my views on automation in the gardens, the device is best used to trim the grass more frequently and coupled with home automation it really has the potential to take over a burdensome task.
